CISA exists as a professional association of softball officials who officiate amateur games/contests primarily at the high school (IHSA) level and of providing competent and consistent officiating services to high schools  sponsoring softball games in central Illinois.  In furtherance thereof, CISA strives to: 

 -- Promote higher professional standards among softball officials.

 -- Encourage uniformity in mechanics among softball officials. 

  -- Conduct meetings on various aspects of officiating.

  -- Provide information on topics of general interest to softball officials.

 The Central Illinois Softball Association (CISA) prides itself on having a highly experienced and knowledgeable team of umpires. With several members boasting 40 years of umpire experience, they serve as mentors to incoming officials and help maintain high standards within the association. CISA's dedication to excellence is further demonstrated by the fact that a member has represented the association in the state finals every year since 2007, and that 10 members have been inducted into the Illinois Coaches Hall of Fame. In order to ensure that all officials are up to date on rules and regulations, CISA holds regular meetings before the start of each season to review both old and new rules and provide training to all of its members. 

CISA  assigns approximately 350 games every year and we have 55 officials in our association. We assign umpires for the following Central Illinois high school softball teams.
